Embark on a journey to create your own rhythms with sound designer and researcher Dr Oğuz Öner. Listen out for the sounds of daily life that may have forgotten to hear on this walk taking place in Bağdat Street. Capture the sounds of the city and the noise of the streets on an iPad. Edit these sounds on GarageBand with the help of Öner, turn them into music, and share your creation with the rest of the world.

“It gives me a kick when users in the public sphere can navigate urban spaces and thus become active users through sonic games and research. In this context, I design sound walks and participatory sonic games with a sonic landscape approach.”
